 * Mana globes show recent average mana to track consistency and today's mana to
   track progress

THE IMPORTANCE OF PURPOSE

Research bears out the common-sense observation that people with a strong sense
of purpose are much more likely to pursue healthy habits. They are more active,
have better stress management practices, and tend to eat a healthier diet.

We often fall into the trap of believing that our 'purpose' must be a grand
pursuit, require extensive travel, or earn fame on social media. In reality, our
purpose can be as simple as being a good parent, partner or friend.

At NextYou, we'd like to add another mission to that list: being a good steward
of your own health. We help you achieve this mission by making it fun and
rewarding to be active and by providing a sense of purpose to your activity, in
the context of an adventure.

THE IMPORTANCE OF PURPOSE

A good story can transport you to a different world in which magic is real, love
is destined, or a hero rises to an impossible challenge. A good story can even
inspire you to see your own actions in an entirely new light.

Story-telling as a tool for helping us gain purpose and transform our habits is
a rising area of research. Early results indicate not just that story-telling
can influence our perspective but that it may well be central to our ability to
make sense of the world around us and to build habits based on that
understanding.

'Runes of the Veradrim' is a story-driven game that uses the power of story, of
art, and of music to help you see your own life in a new light. In a land of
magic and mystery, you become a hero who must help restore balance to the Valley
of the Veradrim.

Music for the game was created by Arn Andersson and Mark Brittingham and is
available on all major music services.

YOUR PROGRESS HISTORY

Runes is composed of 35 chapters from your arrival at the Port of Luminara to
the final resolution of the game.

To complete a chapter, you must meet its Mana requirement and, if the chapter
has an opponent, defeat them in a Match-3 game. In each match-3 chapter, you can
play on Easy, Moderate, Hard or Very Hard. The amount of mana earned is based on
the difficulty level.

You can revisit any chapter you have completed to improve your score or just to
enjoy playing another Match-3 game.

MEET THE AUTHOR

All design, programming, story development, and artwork for Runes of the
Veradrim was done by one person.

That's me!

I am a 32-year veteran in the fitness technology space. Millions of people have
had a fitness assessment, workout, or healthy lifestyle plan from software that
my company offers to health & fitness professionals.

After decades in the field, I have found the most people understand the
importance of being active but have difficulty translating this into purposeful
action. And even people who do pursue an active lifestyle love an opportunity to
try something new and engaging.

My goal in creating Runes was to address this gap head-on. I strove to build a
world of fantasy and adventure that captures your imagination, inspires you to
discover a new purpose, and rewards you for being active. Join the Runes of the
