ABOUT PETS IN NEED ACTION LEAGUE

Pets In Need Action League (a 501©(3) organization) is the ONLY group of its
kind within the 5,000 square mile area that is Pinal County, AZ. We assist with
the provision of very low cost spay/neuter for the pets of financially
disadvantaged/underserved county residents, with more than 5,000 dogs and cats
altered over the past decade of operation. We also assist with the provision of
very low cost spay-neuter for feral/community cats undergoing
Trap-Neuter-Return.

We are not affiliated with Pinal County- or any other state or national
organization- and are totally dependent on public donations and grants to fund
our life-saving work combating pet overpopulation-one of THE most significant
drivers of euthanasia in animal shelters nationwide.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To eliminate euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation in Pinal
County by building collaborative partnerships, providing essential services, and
creating fundamental programs.

OUR GOALS

 1. Establish and fund an on-going spay-neuter assistance program, with special
focus upon provision of access to spay-neuter for low-income and
    under-served pet owners and feral cat caregivers;
 2. Collaborate with Animal Control agencies and other animal shelters and
    rescues to enhance their effectiveness and reduce animal intake;
 3. Increase public awareness of companion animal overpopulation and the
    importance of spay/neuter.

IF YOU'D LIKE TO HELP US

As an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, we depend on the support of our
local community. The menu at the top can show you how you can help us continue
to build, support, educate, and save lives.

NEEDING HELP

There are many reasons why you may be thinking about giving up a pet to a
shelter. Regardless of the reason, we’re not going to judge nor point fingers.
We do, however, believe that animals are entitled to kind and respectful
treatment, and that we, as humans, have a responsibility to provide an
environment that satisfies the physical and psychological needs of our pets —
throughout their lives, not just when it’s convenient.

What we are going to do is help you keep the promise you made to your pet . . .
to love and care for them forever!

NOTE:
We DO NOT take animals from the public – nor do we rescue, shelter or provide
adoption functions.
These functions are best handled by the 100’s of existing rescue groups,
adoption facilities, and animal control agencies in our surrounding communities.
