ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently recruiting for a Supply Planner to join the Supply Chain team at our Runcorn Beverage Taste production facility. The successful candidate will help to ensure we have the correct material stock inventory to fulfil customer orders, whilst minimising waste. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects and develop your career by working across the planning function. This is a full-time permanent role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Create and assign purchase orders * Create and assign STO’s for intercompany transaction. * Build reports in SAP / Power BI to improve planning data and decision making * Proactive foresee and identify raw material shortages and take necessary action to expedite supply. * Liaise with Suppliers, Procurement, R&D, other supply chain team members to minimise schedule disruption due to raw materials issues. * Lead specific projects and work streams around NPI, CI and SOP’s * Provide freight quotes to commercial team as requested. * Ensure accurate documentation from suppliers and forwarders. * Maintain good relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to support business activity. * Manage surplus inventory and aged stock exposure. * Periodically review master data to ensure system data integrity. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Strong experience in planning roles within a Supply Chain function. * Good knowledge of ERP, MRP II or ideally SAP PP. * Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. * Confident in numeracy / maths * Strong planning and analytical skills * Can-do attitude with the ability to work with tight deadlines and sometimes under pressure. * Excellent communicator who can build strong relationships * Highly organised with the ability to solve problems and make considered decisions.
