We are a Full Service Modeling Agency with a Complete Training Program,
established in 1987 by Mary Therese Friel, Former Miss USA, Ford Model, National
Spokesperson, Goodwill Ambassador and Author. Mary Therese Friel, LLC
specializes in representing professional models and talent and providing
professional training in the areas of modeling, acting, pageantry and
self-development.

Making Dreams Come True Since 1987

After winning the Miss USA title in 1979, placing sixth in the Miss Universe
Pageant and then enjoying her own successful modeling career with the Ford
Agency in NYC, Mary Therese Friel founded this company to help and encourage
others to pursue their dreams, just like she did!

The company began as a modeling, pageantry and self-development coaching
facility, for teenage girls. From the beginning, Mary Therese Friel’s formula
was highly successful. Her personal guidance centered on the development of the
whole person, consisting of a well-rounded mix of boosting the girls’
self-confidence, improving their presentation skills and motivating them to be
the best that they could be. Her company quickly became known for cultivating
poised, confident and talented young ladies. This success enabled her company to
expand to include training programs for both female and male students of all
ages.

Today, Mary Therese Friel, LLC is a Full Service Modeling Agency with a Complete
Training Program. The company has a long and impressive list of Clients and
Credits. Mary Therese Friel, LLC offers services and products that include
well-rounded training programs, high quality modeling portfolios and composite
cards and professional model representation and placement.

Mary Therese Friel, LLC is well known for consistently serving the needs of all
of their clients. A commitment to providing their client’s with top-notch talent
and services has helped Mary Therese Friel, LLC build an excellent reputation,
earn a Better Business Bureau A+ Rating and establish a proven track record of
results that now spans almost three decades. Since 1987 they have been making

About the Owners

Mary Therese Friel, Founder & CEO
Mary Therese Friel established this company in 1987. She is a former Miss USA,
Ford Model, National Spokesperson, Goodwill Ambassador and Author.  Her career
in the modeling industry began at age 11 and spans four decades. Her experience
as a model, celebrity, coach and agent, provides her with a unique and valuable
perspective of both sides of the business.

Kent Friel, Executive Director
Kent Friel joined the company in 1995 as a full partner and has contributed to
more than 20 years of the agency’s success, in the training and development of
models and talent, casting, production and management.

Together, Mary Therese and Kent’s shared vision, expertise and drive, continue
to propel the company and their talent to new heights.

The Mary Therese Friel, LLC experience is available in a book, “You Can Be… The
Model You!” by Mary Therese and Kent Friel. It contains information, tips and
instruction from their renowned Complete Training Program. This book is a
fantastic resource that will teach you important skills that will help you
pursue a successful modeling or acting career.  “You Can Be… The Model You!”
offers step-by-step instruction from the training program, advice on how to
shoot a winning portfolio, how to select the right comp cards to represent you,
how to pick the agency that is right for you and how to manage your own career
if you choose!

Mary Therese Friel’s Goodwill Ambassadors

Mary Therese Friel initiated her Goodwill Ambassador program in 1989. It focuses
on encouraging and promoting volunteerism and community involvement,
particularly among young people.

Mary Therese Friel’s Goodwill Ambassadors are selected for their strong
leadership abilities, superb communication skills and their desire to make a
difference. They are positive role models who volunteer their time, talent and
energy to support charitable causes and programs that benefit their community.
