The Federal Inn is an exceptional find. In the post-COVID era, hotel stays have
often been disappointing, which is why I’ve started gravitating towards locally
owned hotels and B&Bs. This place exemplifies true hospitality. Every detail of
the inn is thoughtfully decorated, and the rooms are clean and ideal for a short
stay. Additionally, its location is conveniently close to the town's Main
Street. I highly recommend staying here—you won't regret it.

I stumbled upon the Federal Inn when my usual hotel in Perrysburg was
unexpectedly booked for the night. Lucky for me! 6 stars for service. Katie, the
innkeeper, is a delight. She is a warm and welcoming host, offers wonderful
conversation, and cooks a marvelous breakfast to boot. The inn itself is
charming and gorgeously furnished. I had to ask if she was an interior designer
because each room has so much character. I loved listening to a record in the
library while relaxing and getting some work done. I only wish I could have
stayed longer and taken some time to better explore the surrounding area of
historic Maumee. BIG fan. 10/10 recommend. Will be back!

Delightfully personal. Almost feels out of place in our increasingly impersonal
world. Best described as a passion project, Katie's inn will leave you full of
homemade quiche, cookies, and kindness. Whether you are passing through or
staying over, it would be a mistake not to spend the night here.

Katie is a true Innkeeper. She has very high attention to detail, and has
created an amazingly comfortable and appealing space. She has thought through
every aspect of her Inn, and you can be sure every detail has been chosen
intentionally. Her food is delightful, and the plating is gorgeous! I feel like
I have stepped into a different reality when I am at The Federal Inn, and it is
a reality I wish I could experience daily! For stays and events, check with
Katie! She is a shining star in the greater Toledo area, and her establishment
is not to be missed.

We had the most wonderful stay back in October! The inn is absolutely gorgeous
and radiates such coziness and peace. Katie is so welcoming and overall
phenomenal at what she does. Her breakfast (and chocolate chip cookies!!!) were
to die for. It was such a pleasure and we can’t wait to come back!
