Saturday donation drop-off hours are extended until 2pm through October 28. Donations also accepted Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to noon. MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVERY MONTH Consider a monthly donation to help Household Goods continue to fulfill its mission to provide people in need with help furnishing a home. DONATIONS ACCEPTED TUE, THU, SAT Donations accepted – no appointment needed – Tue & Thu from 9am – Noon. Saturday donation hours are from 9am-2pm through Oct 28. Beginning Nov 1, donations accepted without appointment on Tue, Thu, & Sat from 9am – Noon. MOST NEEDED ITEMS Household Goods is in urgent need of good-quality couches, twin and queen mattresses, and dining tables to give to people in need. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are working to add more in-home pickups, but we need volunteers! If you are someone you know may be interested in volunteering on our truck crews, learn more here. Household Goods, Inc. provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. Throughout Massachusetts, thousands of individuals and families are living without basic furniture and household goods. Finding and securing housing is essential for health, well being, and stability, but it is only the first step. Without basic furnishings – beds, a couch, chairs, a dining table, and kitchenware – a house or apartment is little more than a bare shelter. Hundreds of social service agencies refer people who are recently homeless, veterans, survivors of domestic violence, low income, immigrants, victims of disaster, or are coping with illness or disability to Household Goods. Each year, Household Goods furnishes over 2,500 homes with 60,000 pieces of furniture and smaller household items. All this is made possible by hundreds of dedicated volunteers who contribute thousands of hours each year.
