Nothing was too much and everything was greeted with a smile and a ‘yes we can do that’. All the staff ( too many to mention by name) were attentive and friendly. The food, accommodation, hotel facilities and grounds were outstanding. The Hotel just oozed with character and charm. We had a two day wedding; the first day was our civil wedding (arranged by Hintlesham Hall) and the second was a Hindu ceremony outdoors on the back lawn (a dry hire). Both days were fantastic. We were able to choose our own florist, photographer ( found through Hitched) and videographers. Our caterer and other suppliers on the Hindu day were welcomed by Hintlesham Hall. All we can say is a big thank you to all the staff and unreservedly recommend this venue for any couples getting married. Previous guestJuly 2023 SERVICE IS OF AN AMAZING LEVEL On behalf of my manager and the team, we would like to thank you and all the staff for making our team meeting such a huge success! The service is of an amazing level and the staff are all very accommodating. The food was also of an exceptional high quality, it looks mostly like a beautiful painting, and all dietary requirements were so well looked after! On top of that the hotel looks like a Bridgerton series. Thanks a lot for this! Sharing a picture with the lovely cake that was very tasty! It was spacious, comfortable, spotless clean and had everything you could want or need. All staff were so welcoming and friendly and could not be more lovely. We had tea and cakes in the garden when we arrived, and the most amazing meal in the evening in their beautiful restaurant. The Scallops and the Beef Tournedos are highly recommend... Hotel not trying to be trendy or hip just comfortable with itself. Room was a little chilly at night and the radiators didn't respond when we turned up the thermostat however we did not bring this to the attention of the staff as we could cope. MarkMay 2024 LOVED OUR ROOM Loved our room the 'Regatta' décor was beautiful, room clean and well presented waiters at dinner were polite, smart and attentive. The meal was very well presented and tasty. The waitress at breakfast was so nice, attentive and very smart. We booked and stayed on their Romantic Break overnight on June 28, 2023 for our 20th wedding anniversary and nothing but admiration for the grounds food service, staff, room etc. Fabulous dinner and breakfast, first class staff, lovely Superior Double room complete with flowers, chocolates and Prosecco, all included. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a wonderfully furnished and large room. The food was first class, service excellent and staff very friendly. We enjoyed very good weather and so we’re able to take advantage of the grounds. Would definitely recommend. My son and daughter in law wedding here on Saturday 15th April. The whole weekend was absolutely amazing. Just faultless from start to finish. And our rooms – in the courtyard – were spacious with super king-size beds, and bathrooms with large, walk-in shower and bath tub. Food and service couldn’t be faulted with the venison main course in particular. getting lots of praise. Breakfast was equally as good in terms of food and service and tge choices were impressive, including kippers and eggs Florentine. Particularly good toast too. We had a total of five rooms,all beautifully appointed, in a well preserved and decorated building-no "shabby chic"here. Without exception, the staff were brilliant,friendly,helpful and efficient. We had a private room for breakfast and dinner and the service at both was exceptional as was the case in our regular visits to the bar. Excellent value for money,given that it cost about £100 for B&B in a pub. This really is our sort of country house hotel. Not enough stars to tick for this exceptional gem of a hotel. 888ReikDecember 2022 PERFECT FAMILY CHRISTMAS AT HINTLESHAM We booked into Hintlesham for the 3-day Christmas break, with my children and their families joining us for a family Christmas Day. It lived up to every expectation we had and more so. We had a beautiful, warm, clean and luxurious room. The service was excellent and the staff were welcoming, attentive and professional. There was plenty of space in our rooms to open presents together and share a glass of champagne and canapés. We had a lovely walk after lunch around the beautiful grounds and kitchen gardens. Perfect! Nicola SDecember 2022 WONDERFUL PLACE Hintlesham Hall is an exquisite place to spend time. I have spent Christmas there this year and can only say it was wonderful. On arrival the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, warm and clean with fruit, tea and coffee waiting. The service in the restaurant was excellent as was the food and wine. The carol singers on Christmas Eve made the evening, before dinner, magical. It set the scene for a Christmas full of enjoyment. Walking in the grounds, when it was not raining was a delight. Looking at the very old trees and imagining the beauty of the grounds in summer has made me determined to return later in the year. The hotel is beautifully presented throughout, with lovely comfortable lounges to relax in, amazing bedrooms with immaculate bathrooms, really comfortable beds and a pillow choice is available if required. The food is delicious with Quality ingredients and presented well. I am a celiac and also have several food allergies. This has never been a problem at Hintlesham Hall and I know I can eat there with confidence. The staff are lovely, very attentive and we always feel spoilt when we visit. My wife and I spent a couple of lovely days here exploring the area (Sutton Hoo etc) and the hotel looked after us very well. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Comfortable and well decorated rooms although if you stay in our one you might need a grappling hook as there's a definite gradient! Carriers food was excellent and beautifully prepared and the chef/s were very happy to cater for my wife's messed up "allergies". Well worth a visit. Colette A.November 2023 AUGUST WEDDING AT HINTLESHAM After a lot of deliberation over where to have our wedding reception we decided to have it at Hintlesham Hall and we could not have been happier with our decision! The day was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly, thanks to Zoe and the rest of the staff at Hintlesham. Detailed planning and great communication leading up to the day meant that on our wedding day we could relax and enjoy the day with our guests without any stress. The venue is beautiful meaning that there is no need to spend extra money on decorations and the food was incredible. We had exclusive use of the hall which meant everyone could enjoy the whole hotel. The children (and adults) loved playing croquet on the lawn. Most of our guests were able to stay which meant our wedding practically lasted 2 days with some guests still drinking coffee, walking around the grounds and playing croquet when we left the next day. Thank you again to everyone at Hintlesham, we look forward to returning for anniversaries in the future! My wife and I spent a couple of lovely days here exploring the area (Sutton Hoo etc) and the hotel looked after us very well. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Comfortable and well decorated rooms although if you stay in our one you might need a grappling hook as there's a definite gradient! Carriers food was excellent and beautifully prepared and the chef/s were very happy to cater for my wife's messed up "allergies". Well worth a visit. Jeff WJanuary 2024 A LITTLE BIT OF SOMETHING SPECIAL .. We had a really enjoyable stay at HH. Huge, very comfortable room with luxurious finishes. The staff couldn't do enough to help. Silence, big gardens to stroll through and open fires to come back to. If you want a place to get away from the grind, this is a special place. Roger SJanuary 2024 A TRUE COUNTRY HOUSE CHRISTMAS. Christmas at Hintlesham Hall cannot be beaten; excellent staff, warm welcome, good food, lovely comfortable rooms, traditional country house decorations and atmosphere. This was our 4th Christmas here and we meet up with friends that we met and made during our first visit. This is our "home away from home". Lanc LadyDecember 2023 FABULOUS NEW YEARS EVE New Years Eve was truly amazing, the staff could not do enough for us, food fantastic, gorgeous room and the decorations so very pretty. Everything had been thought of to make it an incredibly special occasion to be remembered. Even a great firework display at Midnight with a glass of champagne. We have booked for next year already. Hazel RDecember 2023 OUTSTANDING HALL WITH EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE We had an intimate wedding package and hired the parlour room which was stunning for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. We had the garden room for drinks and coffee after. The hall was decorated for Christmas and we were lucky to have our wedding in that period which made our wedding even more magical. We stayed in the Apple Store room across from the main hotel, more then just a hotel room, but an experience. It was spacious, comfortable, spotless clean and had everything you could want or need.
