DON'T WANT WINDOWS 11? HERE'S HOW TO DOWNGRADE TO WINDOWS 10

There are many reasons to consider downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10.
Here's how the process works, limitations, and what to expect.

After upgrading to Windows 11, some users may not like the changes and might
prefer to downgrade to Windows 10 again. It is not only easy to roll back to
Windows 10, but safe to do so as well, considering Microsoft has promised to
continue supporting Windows 10 until October 14th, 2025. Files and settings will
remain after downgrading, and it's possible to upgrade to Windows 11 again when
the time feels right.

Windows 11 was introduced as a free upgrade for Windows 10 users, and millions
have already upgraded to the latest version. Windows 11 brings some interesting
new features with it, including the ability to launch Android apps and a
reimagined design. Microsoft also redesigned the Microsoft Store, which now
offers hundreds of apps and programs that users had to previously download
manually.

In spite of the many benefits, there are various reasons why a user might decide
to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10. For example, when encountering
issues that prevent the system from working correctly or simply disliking the
new interface. However, users can only downgrade within ten days after updating
to Windows 11, according to Microsoft. If the update was applied more than 10
days ago, the user will need to make a clean install of Windows 10 and use that
instead.


DOWNGRADING FROM WINDOWS 11 TO WINDOWS 10




When downgrading from Windows 11 to Windows 10, it is best to back up any
recently created files. It is also worth keeping in mind that any software that
was installed recently may get deleted. If using a laptop, the user should also
make sure it is plugged in to guarantee there is enough power to complete the
process. Once ready, navigate to the "Recovery" section of the settings app
under "System." Providing the update to Windows 11 was within the last ten days,
the user will see a "Go back" option listed under "Recovery options."



After clicking on the "Go back" button, Windows will ask the reason for
downgrading. The system will also recommend checking for any available Windows
11 updates rather than rolling back to Windows 10. After checking one of the
boxes and clicking on "Next", and skipping the 'check for updates' prompt,
Windows will issue a reminder that new programs may get deleted and any recently
applied settings may revert. After clicking "Next" for these warnings, the user
will need to click on the "Go back to Windows 10" option to start the process.
Windows will then take some time before booting Windows 10.



The decision to use Windows 11 or roll back to Windows 10 is entirely up to the
user. While Windows 11 offers plenty of new features, some users may not have
the time to get used to a new operating system version or want to deal with any
bugs or problems. For them, rolling back to Windows 10 might be the best option.
