Outside of AMS, Nic plays the keyboard, drums, and is an expert skier. Nic also enjoys mountain biking, reading philosophy, and working on cars that are older than he is. × JACKIE CLINGMAN, BSN, RN VICE PRESIDENT, CLINICAL ANALYTICS Jackie Clingman is one of AMS’ Clinical Review Nurses. Jackie focuses on the PredictDx directory, handles chat inquiries, and oversees a project team that specializes in costs. She has been a nurse for over 20 years, specializing in critical care and made the cross over to non-clinical nursing three years ago when she joined the review team at AMS. Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. In her free time Jackie enjoys reading, homemaking, travel, church, and playing with her dogs. × RYAN WORK VICE PRESIDENT GOVERNMENT RELATIONS SELF-INSURANCE INSTITUTE OF AMERICA, INC. Ryan currently serves as the vice president of government relations for the Self-Insurance Institute of America, Inc. (SIIA) where he heads up the association’s federal advocacy and political activities related to selfinsurance, stop-loss and other alternative risk issues. In this role, Ryan is responsible for developing and managing strategic outreach and policy development before Congress, the Administration and various federal regulatory agencies. Prior to joining SIIA, Ryan directed government affairs activities for S&P Global, where he represented brands including Standard & Poor’s, Platts and J.D. Power. Ryan has served in a number of senior staff positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, most recently as Legislative Director for Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers (WA). He previously served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Katherine Harris (FL) and in various staff roles with the Committee on Ways & Means and the Office of the Speaker of the House. × ANN MARIE DEANGELIS, MD MEDICAL DIRECTOR Dr. AnnMarie DeAngelis is Advanced Medical Strategies Medical Director. AnnMarie has been with AMS since 2021 and is the pediatric resource across the organization. AnnMarie is a member of the clinical team and has her hand in most of the clinical products. Together with the other members of the team, she focuses on continuing to provide clients with up-to-date, relevant clinical data they need when managing high cost claims. AnnMarie is present on training and bi-annual check-in calls as a clinical voice to answer client questions and elicit feedback that may help enhance the products. AnnMarie has a B.A. in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross. She received her medical degree from UMASS/Chan Medical School and completed her pediatrics residency at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Prior to coming to AMS, she practiced primary care pediatrics in central Massachusetts for 20 years. Working as a primary care physician, she needed to use leadership abilities, communication skills and teamwork to care for her patients (some from birth to high school graduation!) When not at work, you might find AnnMarie enjoying outdoor activities, baking her grandmother’s recipes for Italian desserts or planning the next family vacation. × KIRK WEISHAAR DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY Kirk developed, designed, and implemented processes to collect, store, analyze and bring value to AMS and our clients through data. Kirk oversees all statistical modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence initiatives across the organization. Kirk also drives the implementation of new software and tools to help improve efficiency across all teams. As part of IT leadership, Kirk fosters collaboration between Clients, Clinical, Analysts and Developers to assure new concepts drive as much value as possible while also being relevant and accurate. Kirk holds a B.A. from Northern Illinois University in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. In addition, he holds a M.S. in Psychology from DePaul University. Between his degrees, Kirk worked as a Unit Counselor at an inpatient mental health and substance abuse rehab. Kirk was also accepted into Southern Illinois University’s doctoral counseling psychology program. Being heavily involved in multiple research labs, Kirk programmed many experiments from scratch which led to his interest and transition into technology and data analytics. Kirk has since worked in the Payment Integrity space for +10 years, where he led the growth of a single product from $5M to $45M ARR in just 5 years and directed all the analytics for an entire division, including Pre-Pay and Post-Pay which brought in over $200M ARR. When Kirk is not wrangling massive amounts of data, he is traveling or playing with his two cats. × JAY DONOGHUE CTO & DATA PROTECTION/PRIVACY OFFICER Jay Donoghue is Advanced Medical Strategies’ CTO & Data Protection/Privacy Officer. Hired in 2015, Jay has long worked behind the scenes at AMS developing the first client portal and providing a myriad of IT services all before officially joining the AMS team. As Chief Technology Officer, Jay is responsible for driving development and support for all things IT, including the Predict Platform of software, internal HIPAA and HiTrust compliance, and the aforementioned client portal maintenance/updates. Jay obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to his employment at AMS, Jay enjoyed a twenty-year career at Analog Devices. At the onset, Jay designed hardware and software to perform electrical verification of semiconductor products. Moving forward, he turned his focus to software, managing a team responsible for the design, development, and support of applications to drive the industrial supply chain. This included enterprise data integrations, invoice verification and manufacturing process instructions. Finally, Jay rose to Quality Engineering Manager, leading a group of engineers responsible for customer quality issue resolution using the 8D process. Jay is a certified ASQ Six Sigma green belt. × ALLISON CONDON, MSN, RN FACS/IMPLANT CLINICAL REVIEW NURSE Allison Condon is Advanced Medical Strategies’ FACS/Implant Clinical Review Nurse. Allison has been with AMS since 2022 and is the go-to for all things Implant across the organization. Allison has developed procedures to enhance client utilization of PredictIx and AI-Bill as well as internal processes for review and implementation of implant related data in FACS. She continuously reviews and updates implant information in PredictIx to maintain accuracy for clients. Allison works closely with clients to provide education and support while customizing usage of PredictIx and AI-Bill for individual internal workflows. Allison is a graduate of University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in Nursing from University of Central Arkansas. Allison began her nursing career as an Army Nurse and has worked in a variety of specialties. She has over 10 years of experience in revenue cycle and payment accuracy health care audit programs including carve-out and implantable devices, utilization review, and contract compliance. When Allison is not knee deep in implants, you can find her playing with her crazy and rambunctious dogs, begging her teenagers to hang out with her, or attempting to cook new recipes that no one will eat. × BROOKS GOODISON VP OF SALES, DIVERSIFIED GROUP Brooks joined Diversified Group in 1996 where he was first an underwriter and later VP of Sales. In 2015, Brooks became a principal owner of Diversified Group. As President, he is responsible for development and implementation of firm-wide strategy and day-to-day firm leadership, including customer relations, strategic planning, business development, and public relations. He oversees all Diversified Group companies comprised of: Diversified Group Administration, Diversified Group Brokerage, Corporate Managed Health Services, and Corporate Fitness and Health. She serves as the medical director and lead strategist for the Clinical Consulting team. Christine is known as an innovator, collaborator, and change agent, and is particularly passionate about utilizing data and creative solutions to reduce waste improve cost effectiveness in healthcare. Upon completion of her MBA in 2005, she joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant, where she remained for 7+ years. During this time, she worked with hospitals and health systems both across the country and internationally in a variety of functional areas, including strategy, operations and organization. He is an experienced leader with extensive knowledge and background in healthcare and health insurance. Prior experience includes leading group of 18 employees in saving major health insurer over $15 million annually, as well as building cost containment business from start-up to over $1.5 million in revenue over 3 year period. Prior to her current role, she held several leadership roles in healthcare and cost containment operations, including Chief Operating Office of a multisite health center and Senior Director at a specialty dialysis cost-containment company. Cathy is skilled in change management, quality assurance, population health management, risk management, cost containment and strategic planning. Cathy holds a Master’s in Nursing Administration. Outside of work, Cathy enjoys traveling with family and friends and her passion for continuous learning.
