HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN STEM GIRL DAY

Elementary and middle school students, families, and educators are invited to
join us for FREE hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fun
on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. til 4:00 p.m. CT on The
University of Texas at Austin campus. STEM Girl Day is a free event open to the
public. All genders are welcome!

#UTGirlDay is always a chaperoned event and minors must attend all programming
with an adult. The University of Texas at Austin will not take custodial
responsibility for minors while participating in STEM Girl Day at UT Austin.
Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers, parents, legal guardians,
and chaperones throughout the event.

Be sure to register all K-8th grade participants for STEM Girl Day to ensure you
receive all updated information on parking, tips for navigating the day,
reminders of what to wear and bring, and follow-on information full of resources
to continue making connections to STEM events and opportunities.


PLAN FOR YOUR DAY

See all the links to the right to help you make the most of your experience.

Plan for crowds and lots of walking across campus. Participants (K-8th grade
students) can choose which activities or demonstrations they would like to
participate in and explore. Most activities and demonstrations are ongoing
throughout the event and designed for participants to come and go, design and
create, and spend as much time creative problem solving and STEM exploring as
they like.
