THE BUSINESS TALK I am a business services and delivery specialist with over a decade experience in Information Technology & End User Support services. Having led transitions, transformations, and operations across 4 continents, various industries, and managing teams of 100+ individuals, it is my vision to drive continuous stakeholder value across the full scope of an organisation. With a rigorous approach to project management and milestone delivery, I am an expert planner and constantly exploring synergies and cultivating talent, creativity, and growth throughout the ecosystem. By taking my expertise and philosophy to the blockchain and web3 environment, I've established a strong network and been involved with various startups. As investor, ambassador, and consultant I try to create reliable and meaningful relationships and be a source of information and knowledge for projects in need. MY TIME IN WEB3 Entering the cryptocurrency space in early 2021 turned out to be life changing. Research let me to discover various projects that were very relatable to me. One of which was Opulous, a project determined to disrupt the music industry through new ways of artist funding and decentralised music. Not long after, I discovered Algorand, the layer 1 protocol on which Opulous is building it's infrastructure. The more I learned about the space, the more I was convinced about blockchain becoming the backbone infrastructure of the next generation of applications and digital use cases. As my network started to grow, so did my interest and I had the opportunity to financially support various start ups and be involved as advisor and consultant. Thanks to my background in client management and end user engagement, I know how demanding people can be. Especially in web3 where transparency, communication, and engagement with all your stakeholders are critical for the progress of your project. I was (am) co-founder of a community driven investment club going by the name, PAREA Capital, that is primarily active on the Algorand layer 1 protocol. Through this venture I've been incredibly lucky to have met some tremendous people and learn a lot about the do's and do not's of this emerging eco system. Web3 is all about providing constant value for your users, token holders, NFT collectors, and investors. This environment moves fast and as it's still maturing, there are surprises around every corner. Navigating those waters requires strong planning and risk management. Engagement ended as the company decided to move away from the web3 space in the wake of the FTX collapse and it's impact on the markets. Engagement ended as the company had to downsize through the bear market to ensure continuity or the road map.
