Manchester City reportedly have made their stance over the sale of striker
Julian Alvarez clear as both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona begin to
prioritise the signing of the 24-year-old.

After the exit of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid this summer, PSG have been
scrambling to find a replacement with the likes of Victor Osimhen on their radar
but talks around the Nigerian's future at Napoli at yet to get underway leaving
them to look towards Alvarez. Barcelona are in deep financial problems, but it's
believed a sale of Robert Lewandowski to the Saudi Pro League could generate
enough funds to sign the World Cup winner.



However, the Argentina international remains a very important player for Pep
Guardiola and City which is why the club has told Alvarez's agents that they
have no plans to sell the star this summer according to CaughtOffside.

Elsewhere, Atalanta star Aleksei Miranchuk's agent has hinted at a potential
move to City this summer after the forward's part in the club's Europa League
success under Gian Piero Gasperini last season.





The 28-year-old's four goals and 12 assists saw him help the Serie A club to
their first-ever European title and first trophy since 1963 by beating the
previously unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final. They also managed a
fourth-place finish in the league and ended up as runners-up in the Copa Italia
after losing 1-0 to Juventus in the final.

Miranchuk’s agent, Vadim Shipnev, insists that there is a gentleman’s agreement
to let Miranchuk leave the club though this summer and claims that he could make
a move to England, telling Match TV: "There is an unspoken agreement between the
management, the sports director and Miranchuk.



"When this agreement is fulfilled, ‘Lesha’ will leave Atalanta. We still have a
year of the contract, but we are talking about a direct purchase. All the talk
in the foreign press is irrelevant. When the transfer takes place, you will find
out everything. Maybe [Miranchuk will go] to Manchester City."
