It is officially hot and sweltering, stay cool and hydrated : ) Reminder to all: Westwood Cross Country Camp is taking registrations for camp this summer. It is a XC running camp for all high school age kids to receive excellent training for every runner and every level of experience. Whether your child is new to running or a seasoned runner they will benefit from the experience and have fun too. Westwood is a running-summer camp, the best of both worlds! Registration westwoodrunningcamp.com SIGN UP FOR THE 50 FLAGS FUNDRAISER! Attention all athletes! Save the date for this year's 50 Flags Fundraiser! As you may know, the track and XC program is one of many athletic programs who assist with installing and removing flags for this annual fundraiser which supports the Fourth of July parade. The program also receives a stipend for participating and athletes receive service hours, so it is a win-win-win! Dates for this year's install/removal: Installations can begin on Friday afternoon June 28th and go thru all day Saturday June 29th. Removals will be the weekend of July 12th and 13th. Note: You can sign up for both installation and removal or pick one, your choice. How to sign up: By 6/19/24 fill out this Google Sign Up to submit all necessary contact information. Volunteers that filled out Google Sign Up will receive a Google Sheet to submit your name alongside the team contact you choose for your installation and/or removal hours. Email addresses are required for distribution of service hour letters. ***Team contacts are the point of contact for all phone/text communications that day: flag pick ups, drops offs and for all team members who sign up to be with that team lead.
