We make vehicle donations easy so you can help fuel our fight, hassle-free. Donate Your Vehicle If you’re getting rid of a car, boat, RV, or another vehicle because it doesn’t run, you no longer need it, or you want to upgrade, donate it to the American Diabetes Association (ADA) instead! Your vehicle donation to the ADA is free, convenient, and tax-deductible. To start the no-hassle donation process, please complete the form below or call 1-800-232-6570. Our reputable partner, Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS), will contact you by phone within 24 hours to help finalize your donation and handles the entire process—100%. To start the no-hassle donation process, complete the online form above or call 1-800-ADA-6570 (800-232-6570). All vehicles are considered, running or not. * CARS will pick up your vehicle at a time that works for you and at no cost. * We’ll send you a tax receipt and an acknowledgment of your generous donation. * CARS will sell your vehicle and the proceeds will support the ADA's mission. FREQUENTLY ASKED VEHICLE DONATION QUESTIONS WHAT TYPES OF VEHICLES CAN I DONATE? Our partner, CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, can accept vehicles in almost any condition (whether they are running or not) in all 50 states. We accept many different vehicle donations, including cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, boats, motorcycles, RVs, snowmobiles, jet skis, and more. WHAT IS CARS (CHARITABLE ADULT RIDES & SERVICES) CARS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, provides consistent returns and services across all 50 states. CARS handles the entire vehicle donation process on behalf of the ADA, from the initial call or online inquiry, sending the donation proceeds, to donating the proceeds to the ADA once your vehicle is sold. IS MY VEHICLE DONATION TAX DEDUCTIBLE? Yes, vehicle donations are tax deductible. The ADA is recognized by the IRS as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and your vehicle donation is generally tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Individual tax situations may vary, and we recommend you consult a tax professional to determine the amount of your tax benefit. For more information, please refer to IRS Publication 4303.
