GAME COMPANY OF HEROES 2

An open multiplayer beta came to Steam on June 4, followed by a campaign demo on
June 14. However, some months after Relic's acquisition by Sega, the launch was
moved to June 25. A promo image for the game contained a message in Russian
saying "the briefing begins May 7th", suggesting a release on that day. The game
was said to be out in "early 2013" before planned publisher THQ went bankrupt.
The main campaign will be set on the Eastern Front where the player will take
control of the Red Army, with a heavy emphasis on Order 227: "Not a step back".

Unlike the first game, Company of Heroes 2's campaign spans several years of
World War II, from 1941 (when Russia and the USA entered the war) to 1945. It is
powered by the Essence 3.0 Engine which allows for more details and
environmental destruction. It will in many ways be a direct sequel, with not
many changes to the core gameplay. Company of Heroes 2 is Relic Entertainment's
sequel to its acclaimed real-time strategy game Company of Heroes.

Rated with a 9.5 this mod is a really great addition for any player wanting to
enhance the Sins experience. With the possibility to gather and manage other
mods and mini-mods inside its interface, that control graphic effects, sounds,
menus, icons, tech trees, ships, races, this mod is really versatile tool to
control and expand your vanilla Sins experience beyond what you may have
imagined, despite having almost a year without launching a new patch. But, not
only in playability the mod has offered Sins new fresh air. The mod is pretty
balanced so don’t fear any “overpowered” faction crushing obscenely the others
(unless, of course, you’re playing against a seasoned player). Vasari rebels may
start with Phase Jump Stabilizers from the start, Advent loyalists have bonuses
to culture and planet development, and so on. Every faction now has its own
starting bonus, depending on the side of the “history” you’re joining in. This
gives the game a major speed boost in terms of less research and more action
early on. If you think vanilla Sins needed a little tweak to become the game you
thought it was, this mod will not only make you feel satisfied but will also
defy you.įirst of all, it rearranges the factions to the same three (renaming
them) with their loyalists and rebels but with HUGE differences: a unique
tech-tree which comprises technologies that will help you obtain the very best
of the option you’ve chosen, early unit, and buildings unlocked, technologies
and abilities.Īll these new techs will take you deeper into the faction you’ve
selected: you felt that TEC rebels were just a bunch of passive-aggressive

Empire, I’ve found this video which explains pretty clear and easy what needs to
be done. Others offer visual improvements like texture packs, visual effect
packs and so. Some of them are really old but still getting love from their
creators and community.Īlso, there’s something else you need to know: not all
mods out there are about a new world inside the game some incorporate a few more
tweaks for the vanilla game like the E4X mod, with more technologies, balancing,
and stuff. Maybe it won’t be complete, but most of them are totally functional
and addictive.įirst of all, remember that SoaSE is quite an old game so you must
look for the last update or release date of the mod you want to install. Just
stay tuned to their social media, especially Twitter, and you’ll get a heads up

Games may bore people after some time playing them maybe the developer is no
longer paying attention to its product, people are also bored about the same
