THE ROAD TO 30: GULFOOD’S MILESTONE MOMENTS SINCE 1987 Gulfood debuts with 65 exhibitors from 13 countries and attracted 1,600 specialist trade visitors Gulfood goes international featuring companies from Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Poland, Denmark, Hong Kong, Iran, Malaysia, Yemen and Germany The first conference is held with a two-day programme covering food hygiene, safety and legislation Now formally branded as the one-word Gulfood, it launches the first official logo, is extended to four days and is moved to February. The exhibition also extended to three halls to cover a net floor space of 18,000m2 20% increase in exhibitors (over 500) and 9,000+ trade visitors Attendance reaches five figures for the first time with over 12,000 trade visitors from 71 countries Gulfood’s 10th anniversary and the last biennial edition of the show.
