OUR IMPACT

AVMF REACH PROGRAM™

REACH aims to break down barriers to access to immediate veterinary care by
offering grants to any of the more than 105,000 AVMA members nationwide.



CHARITABLE CARE FOR SERVICE ANIMALS

AVMA member veterinarians who provide charitable veterinary care for dogs and
service animals of military veterans may be eligible to apply for a grant
through the AVMF.



DISASTER SUPPORT

AVMF Disaster Relief and Reimbursement Grants help animals and those that care
for them following devastating events.



CRISIS SUPPORT

The new AVMF crisis support program allows the Foundation to support
veterinarians, veterinary students, and others who care for animals during
periods of personal or professional crisis.



RESEARCH SUPPORT

The AVMF devotes its efforts to raising financial support for research projects
that will help lead to improved prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of
prevalent, life-threatening diseases in animals.



EDUCATION SUPPORT

AVMF is committed to helping offset the cost of veterinary medical education.



RESOURCES

AVMF resources are available to help support veterinary practices and animal
caregivers alike so they can focus on what they do best.

The story of AVMF begins in 1963, when the AVMA established the AVMA Foundation
as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
