WHY PARTICIPATE?

Your startup will benefit of a unique opportunity to showcase its innovative
ventures, attract potential investors, and foster strategic partnership with
leading Swiss and International companies.
Italian Tech Startups will be introduced to the expertise of the local ecosystem
and the network of Italian business community, to accelerate through the Swiss
market.

ELIGIBILITY

Are you interested in participating? Check if your startup fits in the following
criteria:
 * Your startup has started its activities within the last five years.
 * Your startup must be based in Italy or in Switzerland with at least one
   Italian founder.
 * Your startup should demonstrate high growth and innovation potential in its
   sector.
 * Your product/service Technology Readiness Level (TRL) is no less than 4 for
   projects in the health sector (pharma & biotech, or medtech), and no less
   than 6 for all other sectors. (TRL reference here)
 * Your startup should not be a subsidiary of an already established company.

THE FIVE VERTICALS:

If eligible, your startup will be categorized into one of the following
preliminary four verticals:

 * Insurtech sponsored by Allianz.
 * Retail & Consumer Services.
 * Digital trust & Security.
 * Health & Nutrition.
 * ICT


WHAT DO YOU GET?

ALL APPLICANTS

 1. Assessment with valuable feedback from a jury of experts
 2. Visibility toward to the jury

SELECTED

 1. Coaching support to better present themselves to the audience and final
    jury.
 2. Pitching in front of an esteemed jury of industry’s experts and investors.
 3. Networking with relevant companies and partner organizations belonging to
    their industry vertical – foreseeing further collaborations.

WINNERS

 1. FONGIT Prize (worth CHF20’000) that includes:
    * Legal and administrative support
    * Hosting at FONGIT for 6 months
    * Consideration for long-term support by FONGIT
 2. Allianz Prize
    * Direct access to the top management to explore potential collaborations
