APICS CPIM Certifications APICS CPIM CERTIFICATIONS CPIM – PART 1 APICS CPIM Certifications: CPIM – Part 1 introduces the definitions and concepts for planning and controlling the flow of products and services into, though, and out of an organization. This course explains fundamental relationships among the various activities that occur in the supply chain network from suppliers to customers. This course aids and supports APICS certification exam preparation. LEARNING OUTCOMES * Core business-wide concepts and various supply chain environments * Managing demand, including markets and customer expectations * Understanding supply issues including inventory costs, functions, and metrics PROGRAM FEATURES * Become more productive and competitive by evaluating your processes and inventory management * Accelerated schedule with convenient hours and location * Classes configured to allow you to complete your CPIM in six months (part 1 and 2); 21 instructional hours; 7 3-hour sessions * Earn 2.1 CEU (Continuing Education Unit) following the successful completion of the course INSTRUCTORS View instructors. CPIM – PART 2 Combines key concepts from the field of operations management. Details four areas of knowledge: Master Planning of Resources, Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Execution and Control of Operations, and Strategic Management of Resources. This course explains the concepts included apply to both manufacturing and service organizations. This course aids and supports APICS certification exam preparation. This course is part 2 of a 2-part series.
