Magee was founded on handwoven tweed over 150 years ago. This hardwearing,
coarse fabric was handwoven in Donegal by part-time fishermen/farmers and
part-time weavers in the late 1800’s. It was the perfect fabric for dissipating
the damp and cold weather, so often found in North-west Ireland.
