Morcava is a trio of musicians who have grown up in the Minnesota Irish music
tradition.

A PASSION FOR PLAYING



Morcava, a trio rooted in Minnesota’s rich Irish music tradition, is spreading
its wings. Set to delight audiences with their youthful energy and musicality
are Morien McBurnie (guitar, bouzouki), Carmen Pasquerella (whistles, flute),
and Ava Sackaroff (woodwinds, harp, bodhran) who come together to create
memorable musical occasions. Each has been celebrated for their achievements at
the Midwest Fleadh and their spirited performances at the All Ireland Fleadh
Cheoil, and embodies a deep commitment to Irish arts. Morcava weaves traditional
Irish sounds with rhythmic arrangements that showcase their technical prowess
and emotional depth. Morcava is poised to capture hearts and imaginations.
