How is this microwave safe?

Our magnets are specially designed not to arc through their rounded shape, which
means they are 100% safe to use in the microwave.

We all know that you can’t and shouldn’t put forks in the microwave, either
because we’ve been told not to or because we found out the hard way what happens
when you do. However, it’s a complete myth that you can’t put any metal in
microwaves. Here’s why:

Metal reflects waves, which is why the walls of your microwave are made out of
special metal – so the waves can bounce around inside your microwave, where they
belong. Sometimes, however, when you combine lots of pieces of metal together
(like the prongs of a fork) or metal with very thin or sharp edges, this can
cause sparks to fly. This is due to something called arcing2 – when electrons
flow from a more negatively charged surface to a less negatively charged
surface, if you want to get scientific.

All that to say, Duo Cover specifically designed our magnet to be 100%
microwave-safe so you can have total peace of mind.

How does Duo Cover steam food? And how does Duo Cover keep food moist?

All microwaves are basically steamers already. They excite the H2O molecules in
your food, generating steam — which then rises and pushes against your Duo
Cover’s MoistureLock™️ knob. This then creates a tiny gap allowing the water you
add to the top of your Duo Cover (if you want to – this step is optional) to be
slowly added to your food, keeping it moist. In other words, Duo Cover simply
traps the moisture your microwave already creates, producing steamed meals that
taste much better than when you use your microwave without it.

11 inches wide, 1.3 inches high (when collapsed) and 4.5 inches high (when

What does the 1-year warranty cover?

The 1 year warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as damage during shipping

be a learning curb with using the cover for steaming and cooking, which is why
you can contact us to return the Duo Cover within 30 days of delivery to you.


IF YOU CHOOSE TO RETURN IT TO US WITHIN THE 30-DAY PERIOD, PLEASE FOLLOW THE
BELOW:

 1. Contact our support team: at support@getduocover.io to request the return
    address and RMA number.
 2. Return the Duo Cover to the address we will provide, ensuring the RMA number
    is on the return label. Please note: Return postage is the responsibility of
    the customer and we recommend using delivery confirmation to avoid any
    delays.
 3. The refund will be issued to the original payment method after your return
    has been processed at the warehouse.
 4. There will be a restocking and return processing fee of 20% of the cost of
    the items returned, this will be deducted from the refund we issue to you.
