In 2007, she earned an MFA degree in dramatic media from the University of
Georgia. In 2012, she enrolled for her PhD degree at the Universität Stuttgart.
She was a scholarship student.




CAREER

The embellishments specialist has had a long-running career in the arts
industry. She started her career after completing her Bachelor's degree.

She worked as a 3D generalist intern at Perpetual Motion in Athens, Georgia,
from March to May 2005. She was offered a permanent position in the company
after her internship. She worked for Perpetual Motion until September 2006.

In 2007, she became a freelance 3D generalist for Method in Motion in Los
Angeles. She then moved back to her home country, where she worked for Scanline
VFX in Munich as a scripting and pipeline TD and R&D.

In July 2011, she left Scanline VFX for 3DXcite, where she worked as an
application developer. She left 3DXcite in January 2012 to pursue her PhD
studies.

From October 2012 to June 2015, she worked as a guest lecturer at Furtwangen
University in Germany. In 2015, she went back to California for three months as
a visiting researcher at Adobe Research.



From 2016 to date, she has been a professor of visual media technologies at the
Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
