The Mubadala Capital Brazil team employs an integrated investment approach,
capitalizing on over 10 years of experience, strategically designed to take
advantage of attractive investment opportunities in the Brazilian market.



The investment program has been driven by the following key principles:



   
   
 * Focus on opportunities across the capital structure that are driven by
   financial strain, distress or complexity.
   
   
 * Employ a contrarian approach seeking attractive entry prices.
   
   
 * Immediate alpha generation at the time of asset acquisition by virtue of new
   capital structure and ownership.
   
   
 * Value-oriented investment strategy with a focus on financial improvements and
   value creation opportunities.
   
   



Large institutional quality assets are also evaluated along with structured debt
transactions in certain circumstances.




INVESTMENT PARAMETERS

Mubadala Capital Brazil seeks to invest across multiple sectors. We typically
target companies with aggregate investment requirements of $50 million to $200
million, with the ability to exceed such amounts in certain instances.

The team is comprised of highly experienced investment professionals based in
Rio de Janeiro who have significant international experience that is supported
by postgraduate educations from leading business schools across the United
States and Europe.
