MS Teams

Cooleaf for Microsoft Teams is designed to bring your employee engagement
platform and positive work culture together. It brings the power of recognition,
rewards, and employee connection directly into your Microsoft Teams environment.
By integrating with Teams, Cooleaf makes it easy for employees to appreciate
colleagues, participate in company activities, and contribute to a thriving
workplace community.


MS TEAMS | COOLEAF APP

You will need MS Team Admin privileges to enable the Cooleaf App.

HOW TO INSTALL THE COOLEAF APP ON MS TEAMS

 1. Log in on https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/
 2. Proceed to 'Setup policies' and select the 'Global (Org-wide default)
    policy. Then click 'Add apps'.



 1. In the side panel search for 'Cooleaf' app and press 'Add'.



 1. The Cooleaf app should appear on the 'Installed apps' list.

You are able to pin the Cooleaf app to the side menu by completing the same
steps in the 'Pinned Apps' section. Once you are complete, press save.

HOW TO USE COOLEAF'S MICROSOFT TEAMS INTEGRATION

MS TEAMS | WEBHOOK INTEGRATION

The Cooleaf Microsoft Teams Webhook Integration creates a direct connection
between Cooleaf and your team's Microsoft Teams environment. This integration
allows important Cooleaf notifications to be seamlessly delivered to a
designated channel, keeping your team informed and engaged.


HOW TO SETUP THE MS TEAMS INTEGRATION

Please note that your organization must be enabled for MS Teams integration by a
Cooleaf administrator before proceeding. 
Due to upcoming changes to Microsoft's Webhook feature, these steps may be
subject to modification.
 1. Go to Microsoft Teams platform and select a channel from your team.



 1. Open 'Connectors' from the channels tools bar.



 1. Configure an 'Incoming Webhook' for the channel connector.



 1. Type a name for the new integration (i.e. Cooleaf) and upload a logo
    (optional)



 1. Create a 'Webhook' and copy the Webhook URL







Proceed with the next steps in your have Cooleaf Admin access. Otherwise, send
the 'Webhook' and name of the channel to the Cooleaf administrator.
 1. In the HR panel, click on the Integrations tab. Scroll down to Microsoft
    Teams, then select 'Add new channel'.
 2. Type the name of the MS Teams channel and paste the Webhook URL (set as
    default)



 1. Once Microsoft Teams channel is configured and Webhook is connected, you are
    now ready to post notifications from Cooleaf to Teams channel.

Please be aware that Microsoft Teams Webhooks will be deprecated starting
December 2025. The Cooleaf development team is actively working on a solution to
ensure uninterrupted service and will provide timely notifications prior to this
change.
