   Yeah, this one jumped out at me since I just this past weekend finished the
   game Assassin's Creed: Mirage, which takes place in the year 861 in Baghdad
   under the Abbasid Caliphate. So yeah, that one lasted 400 years more. As
   always, interesting the number of actual historical figures that you interact
   with in the game, and how they include actual historical events. Like the
   real death of the Caliph al-Mutawakkil, the uprising of slaves that same year
   (probably why they picked that year for the game), the undercurrent of
   dependence on foreigners to run the bureaucracy and fill the ranks of the
   military that drives parts of the plot, and so on.
