THESE “HARRY POTTER” STARS ARE GETTING OLDER! WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

TRENDING SEPTEMBER 13, 2023

CEDRIC DIGGORY – ROBERT PATTINSON

Starting as a 15-year-old theater kid in London, Robert Pattinson first
enchanted moviegoers as Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”
in 2005. The role was a career launchpad, setting him up for stardom as Edward
Cullen in “Twilight,” a part he nearly declined.

The actor has starred in several independent films, including “Good Time” in
2017, “The Lighthouse” in 2019, and “The Batman” in 2022. Being a multitalented
artist, Robert also plays the piano and guitar in addition to singing and
writing musical pieces. The “Twilight” soundtracks “Never Think” and “Let Me
Sign” were sung and composed by him.

PANSY PARKINSON – SCARLETT BYRNE

Scarlett Byrne skyrocketed to fame as Pansy Parkinson in the final chapters of
the “Harry Potter” saga, a role she embraced for its rich complexity. She
initially auditioned for the role of Luna Lovegood but lost it to Evanna Lynch.
Ultimately, Scarlett thrived as Pansy, capturing audiences with her nuanced
portrayal. Post-Hogwarts, she delved into “The Vampire Diaries” and spiced up
the horror genre in “Lake Placid: The Final Chapter.”

Off-screen, Scarlett shines as a fashion muse for brands like Ralph Lauren and
balances her stardom with philanthropic work for Make-A-Wish and Starlight
Children’s Foundation. In 2015, the actress married Cooper Hefner, the son of
Hugh Hefner, in London.

LUCIUS MALFOY – JASON ISAACS

Jason Isaacs enchanted us as the devilishly suave Lucius Malfoy in the “Harry
Potter” series, but his range doesn’t stop at dark magic. From Golden
Globe-nominated roles in “Awake” to accolades like the National Board of Review
Award, Jason has proved he’s more than just a wizarding world villain.

Despite being a non-video game player, Jason still appears strong in loads of
games as a voice actor, including “The Last Worker” and “Baldur’s Gate 3.” In a
2023 interview with RadioTimes.com, the actor shared that although he doesn’t
play video games, he has developed a very close relationship with Tetris.

DEAN THOMAS – ALFRED ENOCH

Alfred Enoch, best known as Dean Thomas from the “Harry Potter” series, is no
ordinary wizard; he’s a linguistic magician, too! He is fluent in Portuguese,
being a graduate of the Queen’s College, Oxford.

After leaving Hogwarts, Alfred wowed us in the TV series “How to Get Away with
Murder” when he played the role of Wes Gibbins. He was the main character in the
series until his character’s brutal murder in the third season. Despite being a
talented actor on-screen, his heart remained on the theater stage. He received
rave reviews for his role in the London-based theatrical production of “Romeo
and Juliet.”

COLIN CREEVEY – HUGH MITCHELL

Hugh Mitchell, the face behind “Harry Potter’s” camera-loving Colin Creevey, is
a wizard in more ways than one. Winning a real Pentax camera at ten, he was
destined to play Colin. After his post-Hogwarts adventures in “The White Queen”
and “The Da Vinci Code,” Hugh has turned his focus to professional photography.

The actor continued his “muggle” career as an award-winning photographer. As a
photographer based in the U.K., he snaps portraits, landscapes, and “many things
in between,” showing his love of the outdoors. From the Wizarding World to the
world through a viewfinder, Hugh is a multi-talented artist worthy of a camera.
