A LITTLE ABOUT US

Highcliffe is a Charming Victorian detached stone house, which has been extended
to offer a secure and comfortable home to 24 elderly people, when, through ill
health, age or infirmity they can no longer continue to live in their own home.

The home is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a dedicated team of care
staff and stands in its own grounds and yet is situated in the centre of the
popular village of Whittle-le-Woods, close to amenities, bus stop, churches,
doctors surgery, shops and the local community centre.

We strive to maintain a safe, homely environment with a warm welcome and
openness, where our residents feel that they are a valued member of society.
Independence and happiness are of paramount importance.

CARE PLANNING, PROFESSIONAL ADVICE & SUPPORT IN CHORLEY

It is the policy of Highcliffe Residential Home that a Care Plan is drawn up on
each resident’s admission. This is known as a Residents Care Plan.

The Care Plan is devised by a member of the management team and in consultation
with you and/or your family. This plan is tailored to meet your requirements and
will be re-assessed constantly to make sure that any changes in circumstances
are noted and changed if necessary.

In the past couple of years I’ve called on Denton Glazing twice. Once to repair
a broken pane and recently to fix some UPVC filler panels. On both occasions
they have turned up when they said they would (rare in itself these days) and
done the job promptly. Both jobs were around the £100 mark so not a big job by
any means, but both times they were completed to my satisfaction. Highly
recommended.
