IN LOVING MEMORY OF BIBI – VICTORINE HENRIETTE FAÏLA KABAMBULA

A Word from the Family

Bibi as we all knew her, was born on Tuesday, 1 April 1941.
Growing up, she was always surrounded by people and was loved by many. She
became a wife and a mother to 12 children. As a result, she was blessed with
many grandchildren, and also with great-grandchildren, some of which are here to
say goodbye to her today.

Bibi was a pillar of strength and a real matriarch in her family. It was a shock
to all of us to hear of her passing, but not to her. She spoke about a great big
party waiting for her in heaven, she was ready to go, and she went peacefully
and with a full heart. Although we are heartbroken today, it’s also bittersweet,
as we all know where she went. So instead of mourning her, we decided that we
will rather celebrate the blessing that she was to all of us.

Now that you have joined the angels, we expect you to watch over us as well. So
this is not goodbye, but rather, see you later.

We love you Bibi, and we will always have fond memories of you. We salute the
beginning of your eternal life. Until we meet again…
