 * WHAT IS A TOTAL TESTOSTERONE TEST FOR?
   
   A total testosterone test is used to measure the amount of testosterone in
   the blood. A testosterone levels test may be used to help understand the
   cause of symptoms associated with high or low testosterone. It can also be
   used to monitor your testosterone health especially if you have made
   lifestyle changes to address abnormal testosterone levels. 


 * WHO SHOULD TAKE A TOTAL TESTOSTERONE BLOOD TEST?
   
   You should test your total testosterone if you are experiencing symptoms
   associated with abnormal testosterone levels.


 * WHAT ARE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF LOW TESTOSTERONE LEVELS?
   
   If you are experiencing low testosterone levels, you may also be feeling:
   
    * Changes in sexual function
    * Lower or absent sex drive
    * Physical changes, including increased body fat, reduced muscle strength
      and decreased bone density
    * Emotional changes or changes in mood
    * Difficulties with concentration and memory 4,5


 * HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TEST MY TOTAL TESTOSTERONE LEVELS?
   
   The frequency of testing depends on your health status and if you are
   experiencing symptoms associated with low testosterone. Your provider may
   recommend repeat testing or additional tests to learn more about what may be
   causing your symptoms and/or the change in your testosterone level.
   
   Any abnormal results should be followed up with your healthcare provider to
   determine next steps.


 * HOW ACCURATE IS THIS TESTING?
   
   Your testing will be performed in a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory.

   laboratories. Our labs perform regular quality assurance testing to ensure

 * ARE MY TEST RESULTS PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL?
   
   Your results will be provided to you through our secure online portal to view
   or print. Results are also made available through a secure portal to the
   independent healthcare provider who placed your test order.  If you are
   accessing your results through your Labcorp Patient™ account, all users
   linked to the account will have access to all OnDemand test results. Results
   may also be provided to a local, state, and/or federal health authority; for
   example, many states require the testing laboratory and physician to report
   test results for certain communicable diseases, such as COVID-19, to local or
   state health departments.

   professional. For your convenience, Labcorp OnDemand has contracted with
   independent professional entities (collectively, Providers) to deliver
