We are proud to announce the release of Spark Engine 4.5, featuring a new
shareable chatbot type for quizzes or surveys. These chatbots can ask questions
and grade responses using predefined answers added by the quiz creator or
teacher. The results are submitted back to the teacher, enabling them to use our
AI to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of the class, down to each student

Our spark.config.js file holds about 80 true and false variables which
completely reshape the platform. From UI changes and rebranding to features and
account type permissions, we can guarantee that we have one of the highest
levels of customization.
Can Spark Study be used across different subjects and disciplines?
Absolutely, Spark Study is versatile across all fields of study, but for guiding
interactive lessons, our most favourable fields would have to be philosophy,
psychology, history, science, language, health, politics and business.
What languages does Spark Study support?
Spark Study supports all languages, including historical linguistic styles that
are no longer used. The platform can generate responses in two languages
simultaneously, fostering multilingual understanding and creating new ways to
teach.
What measures are in place to handle inappropriate use or behavior on the
platform?
Spark Study's design inherently limits misuse. For example, our companions can
only use the context in their memory and anything else the student asks will be
met with 'sorry, I can't help with that'. For characters, there is an option to
make them talk about things which are relevant only to that character as well,
safely ensuring your students do not use it to cheat
Does your platform have content moderation?
Yes, but we do not have a variable in our configuration file to turn this off.
If you would like to turn off the moderation (which we do not recommend), then
you will need to remove it from our source code.
What technology does your plaform use?
The tech stack we use is Next JS, Typescript and Supabase for the database, all
of which are open source. Aside from that, we use Open AI's GPT API for the AI
models, though these can easily be swapped out with Claude, Bard or any in-house
and open source model you have.
What if my database provider is different from the one you use?
No worries. Firstly, our platform can be hosted under a subdomain. Secondly, our
provider offers plugins for AWS, Azure and more to easily integrate our platform
with your preexisting one.
