Digitalisation has been on the agenda of businesses and finance leaders for
quite some time. But it saw a major push in the past couple of years, the
increase of remote work moved digitalisation to the centre stage for many. But

Summer is Chief Financial Officer for Abstract House, the leading UK
manufacturer of sustainable art and picture frames. A passionate and innovative
leader, she manages financial planning and P&L for the e-commerce business along
with the Marketing and Trade divisions. A strong believer in automation through
technology, Summer has implemented processes that revolutionise the way the
business works to create a leaner, more productive environment.

Summer studied for her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics at the
University of East Anglia. Prior tolaunching Abstract House, Summer managed the
advertising channels for film distribution at ODEON & UCI Cinemas.

Yvonne Staisch
Head of Finance and Accounting
GNS mbH


Yvonne has been working in financial accounting at GNS mbH for more than 20
years. Her professional career started in accounts payable, since then she has
worked in all areas of accounting. With her expansive knowledge in all areas of
finance, Yvonne is an all-rounder in financial accounting. Yvonne has been the
head of the finance and accounting department since July 2017. Additionally from
June 2019 to December 2021, Yvonne was project manager for the SAP S/4
conversion (Go Live January 1st, 2022).

Dr. Axel Rebien

Axel oversees the global finance operations of Serrala and is responsible for
all commercial areas of the company like HR, IT, Legal, and Administration. Axel
uses his CFO lens to drive financial strategies and finance-related processes
including accounting, financial planning & analysis that deliver a return in
business transformation.

Axel brings substantial experience in heading fast-growing international
organizations to the company. Before joining Serrala he held executive senior
leadership roles at Unzer (formerly: heidelpay group), a fast-growing,
innovative, and modular platform for international payments and at PharmaSGP SE
(healthcare and pharmaceuticals), and Tom Tailor Holding SE where he managed the
IPO in 2010.

Axel holds an MBA in Economics from Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz-University,
Hannover, and a Ph.D. in Political Science and Economics from the University of
Chemnitz.
