In 1995, a multiracial coalition of students participated in a 36-hour long
sit-in in Nassau Hall, pushing for “the hiring of faculty to teach
Asian-American and Latino studies.” The ‘Prince’ spoke with the alumni who were
involved in the protest to learn about their experiences with activism and their
current reflections.
