I liked the dynamic between Thor and Brooklyn, even if Ifelt off about
Brooklyn's character as a whole.UnDevoured- Now letme tell you, I thought I was
going to be indifferent about thisstory. I didn't really get into the story
until themiddle. Did I like this story? It was'alright for me. Thischapter
answers the question we all had when we were firstintroduced to this character.
HOW did they end up on the chopping block so to speak. We know the protagonist
is a musical genius, sojust. and delves into how a certain protagonist gotwhere
they were. I remember thinkingto myself, 'what exactly am I supposed to be
getting from this?'Since it was the first chapter, it just kind of eases you
intoeverything.Unfinished Symphony- A very real look into what peopledo to stay
alive. I liked the chapter,though I felt the start of it was kind of dry. It was
easy to figure it out early ifyou remember key details of every character. Just
ONE more page to tie it allup!Maybe a few spoilers?Just going over the stories

of the major antagonists.

It can take up between six to eight full runs in order to have heard every
fragment of narration at least once.ĭespite the fragmented narration, the
overall story told by the Narrator has a few consistancies: the Narrator tells
the story of how, after leaving the hospital for kidney stone surgery, he and
Esther were involved in a car crash with a man named Paul, resulting in Esther's
death. This results in the narration to somewhat lack coherency, forcing the
player to draw their own conclusions to the story and making the game
replayable.

Each fragment is semi-randomly generated, with each location have between two to
four variations in narration, which changes each time the player restarts the
game again. These fragments of narration are triggered as the player reaches
various key locations along the path, typically when certain landmarks are in
view, or when the player approaches those same landmarks. Throughout the
player's journey across the island, a disembodied narrator speaks, reading aloud
fragments from a series of letters to a woman named Esther (It is not directly
specified who the Narrator is, but it is generally believed that he is Esther's
husband, as well as the player character). The player walks up the cliff path
towards the beacon and, upon reaching it, climbs to the top of the tower and
leaps off the cliff, taking flight and flying around the island and across the
bay before the game ends, fading to black. From here the player character makes
their way out of the cave, falling down more shafts before having a vision of a
motorway, completely sunk underwater, before awakening on a moonlit beach
beneath a cliff, where a radio beacon stands. The player walks past the
lighthouse, along a cliff edge, past a beach strewn with shipwrecks, and various
abandoned buildings including an old bothy, until eventually they fall down a
hole into a massive network of caves, lit by bioluminecent fungus. An

Currently, 40 open source imaging software projects, termed ‘Community
Partners’, use the Forum as their primary interaction with users. The two
software projects joined forces to build the Scientific Community Image Forum (
) ( Rueden et al., 2019), an online resource for the worldwide scientific
community to learn about image analysis from each other. For example, the teams
advocate together for open source technologies, usability, and interoperability
( Carpenter et al., 2012 Kamentsky et al., 2011). The ImageJ and CellProfiler
teams have worked together for many years, not just on mutually useful software
development, but also in developing the bioimage analysis community into its
healthy and cooperative state today. The projects also differ in their
respective languages, with ImageJ being Java-based and CellProfiler
Python-based. With over 10,000 publications to date, CellProfiler’s strength is
in project-building, where complex pipelines of individual modules can be built
to automate the processing of large experiments of images ( Carpenter et al.,
2006 Kamentsky et al., 2011 McQuin et al., 2018). Cited in over 10,000
publications per year, ImageJ, as well as its plugins-included distribution
known as Fiji, enable in-depth image investigations both are ideally suited for
interactive, single-image processing and are popular choices for both novice and
experienced developers alike to add functionality ( Schneider et al., 2012
Rueden et al., 2017 Schindelin et al., 2012). Over the years, both projects have
developed independently, cementing themselves in the field of image analysis.
ImageJ and CellProfiler are two of the most widely used open source image
analysis platforms in science. ImageJ and CellProfiler are both committed to
interoperability between their platforms with ongoing development to improve how
both are leveraged from the other. While both programs can be and are often used
separately, these pipelines demonstrate the benefits of using them together for
image analysis workflows. No single platform can provide all the key and most
efficient functionality needed for all studies.

Here we share two pipelines demonstrating mechanisms for productively and
conveniently integrating ImageJ and CellProfiler for 1) studying cell morphology
and migration via tracking and 2) advanced stitching techniques for handling
large, tiled image sets to improve segmentation. Although many image analysis
problems can be well-solved with one or the other, using these two platforms
together in a single workflow can be powerful. ImageJ’s traditional strength is
in single image processing and investigation, while CellProfiler is designed for
building large-scale, modular analysis pipelines. ImageJ and CellProfiler have
long been leading open source platforms in the field of bioimage analysis.
