THE STORY BEGINS

A pirate prince and a young Zillarnian woman devastated by her family’s betrayal
must work together to save the ones most dear to them. On their harrowing
journey fraught with dangerous seas, cursed pirates, and a dark whisper, the
unlikely partners discover that all is not as it seems - and that victory will
only come at high cost.

ROGUE NAVY

Captain Julius’ rogue Royal Navy Crew was pulled into the depths of the Portal
to Realms while chasing crazed Cap’n Vane. Now marooned in the Baransu Realm,
the crew mutinied and slowly became cursed shadows of themselves - forever
hunting Vane to return him and bring him to justice.

DARK PIRATES

Captain Vane was drawn by the calling of infinite power and treasure that
awaited beyond the “Devil's Eye,” landing him and his crew in the Baransu Realm.
Vane and his crew sold their souls to the Dark Whisper in return for great
power. Each marked with the infamous X and sworn into the legion of Dark Pirates
by blood.

SAILING MASTER

Renowned navigators of the Fukushu Sea, the Sailing Masters are any captain's
first pick of crew. Enter any Tavern in Fukushū Bay, and you’ll hear a few
Sailing Masters boasting of their outlandish exploits throughout the realm.

GUNNER

Infamous gunners of Fukushū Bay, these trigger-happy degenerates are key to any
formidable pirate crew. In a Day o’ Reckonin’, aye, ye be sure to have the
blimey Gunners aboard.

SWABBIE

Mostly newcomers to Fukushū Bay, the Swabbies are ready and able crew. Whether
outcast or runaway from elsewhere in Baransu - or strange folk rumored to have
come through the Portal and washed up on shore - every newcomer to Fukushu Bay
starts as a Swabbie until they work their way up the ranks.

The Pirates will be native to the Ethereum blockchain.


How many attributes are there, and what does Ranking look like?


There are over 700 attributes and an intricate ranking system. We have multiple
categories of rankings and groups or “crews” within the Pirates of Fukushū
collection – but we will leave the rest for ye hearties on reveal day!


What is the utility of a pirate?


You will own a digital collectible directly linked to the characters of our
Cinematic Universe, for which there will never be more Pirates than 7777. As a
holder, you can also expect various additional benefits over time.


How many collections are there within the Shibui Cinematic Universe?


Including Pirates, there are 3 different collections. The first two, "The
Soulless Citadel" and "The Rise of the Women Warriors," were released in 2022 on
the Zilliqa blockchain.


Will there be more collections after Pirates?


Yes. Our goal is to become a Cinematic Universe that spans across multiple
blockchains and becomes truly multichain. Each branch on each chain can expect
its own specific utilities and benefits. Still, at the same time, we will expand
the universe until all characters of our universe have been sold as digital
collectibles.


When will the movie be released?


Our first screenplay is currently in development with Hollywood screenwriters on
the Story Development team. Our first Screenplay intertwines the stories of the
Light Walkers, the Pirates of Fukushu, and many others that you can see on our
Shibui Universe Map of the “Baransu Realm” and beyond. The date of release is
TBA. Beyond our current screenplay, we plan to have multiple screenplays
developing simultaneously of different people in our Universe – including The
Pirates of Fukushu, which is already in the development stage.


Do Holders of digital collectibles hold IP rights to the characters?


You have complete usage of your NFTs that you own (grants you a worldwide,
non-exclusive, perpetual, transferable, and royalty-free license to use,
reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the Art associated with your
Purchased NFT in your discretion, read our TERMS OF USE), but note the
non-exclusivity. We needed to keep the IP rights relating to the content (story)
associated with the NFTs. We have it this way to protect the IP rights of the
story and keep the world we are building intact, so our writers and artists can
produce the film and the Anime of our Cinematic Universe.
