Promotion Name * Black Friday: Play & Win 1. Duration of promotion * 21 October 2024 – 29 November 2024. * The Offer * This is a gamification platform to reward WRewards members with a voucher, gift card or product upon successfully playing the game. 1. Can any WRewards member get the offer? * This offer is available to all existing and new WRewards members, including Woolworths South Africa staff. * Please note that if you are a new WRewards member, the number of times that you will be eligible to participate in this promotion will be dependent on the date that you joined W For example, if you join WRewards during week 2 (two) of the Promotion you will only be eligible to participate in the promotion and play the game from week 3 (three) and so on. * Should you join WRewards during the last week of the Promotion or after it has expired, you will have missed all the emails that allow WRewards members access to the Play & Win game and therefore, you will not be able to participate in this promotion. 2. Eligible Residents * The promotion is only available to South African residents with a valid RSA ID. * The offer is unfortunately not available to passport holders. 1. Eligible Entrants * Entry to the Promotion is open to all eligible residents who; a) Are over the age of 18. 1. b) Employees of Woolworths, its agents, contractors, and anyone associated with the running of this promotion (and their immediate families). 2. c) Are existing or new WRewards members. * Further, an entrant will be ineligible to enter if they: a) Fail to abide by all laws, regulations Privacy Rules and other rules (including those listed in the Terms and Conditions). * I have seen an advert about the Play & Win promotional offer, how do I go about participating? * Existing WRewards members need to ensure that they have opted into receiving marketing communication from Woolworths. * New joiners can sign up for WRewards either by: 1. Downloading the Woolworths app. 2. Collecting your card in store and following the easy sign-up steps at the back of the card. 3. Through social media advertisements. 4. By signing up for WCellar, Littleworld and through our online platforms. (Note: we will only recognise new WRewards joiners) * I have received a link from a friend to sign up to the WRewards programme. How do I go about participating in the Play & Win promotional offer? * If you sign up for WRewards for the first time, you may participate. Only new WRewards members that sign up for a WRewards card will receive the emailer inviting them to play the game after completing the WRewards application form by either: a) Downloading the Woolworths app. b) Collecting your card in store and following the easy sign-up steps at the back of the card. c) Through social media advertisements. d) By signing up for WCellar, Littleworld and through our online platforms (Note: we will only recognise new WRewards members). 1. How long will it take for me to receive my voucher, gift card or product once I’ve played? * You should receive an email confirming that your voucher has been loaded to your Woolworths app between 24 – 48 hours. * The WRewards Team will make contact with you within 14 days of winning a product or gift card. * Please ensure that you download the app as it will also give you access to your virtual WRewards card that you can scan when paying for your items and also use to view the vouchers available to you. * The app also lets you know how much further away you are from becoming a WRewards VIP. 1. What happens if I miss my chance to Play & Win?: * Should you for any reason miss your chance to Play & Win during a certain week of the Promotional Period you will not be afforded another chance to do so, i.e., you cannot Play & Win retrospectively and therefore, it is important that you play the game during the time period set out in the Promotion Rules. * It is also your responsibility to ensure that you have the required internet connectivity and electronic device to be able to participate in the Promotion. 1. I am a South African citizen living abroad, do I qualify for the discount? * Yes, you do provide you have a valid South African ID. * Can I transfer my voucher code, product, or gift card to someone else? * Unfortunately, not, as this is a member specific offer and linked to a customer’s profile.
