The SOC 2 is a set of security standards that set forth industry best practices
around data security and privacy. The SOC 2, Type 2 is only awarded to companies
who demonstrate strict adherence to those standards, not just once, but over an
extended period of time.

The certification process is an intensive, months-long series of tests and
evaluations conducted by an independent CPA who then offers a written opinion.
