Its a little strange watching the gate lift up but it just works. Take your time and follow the instructions and you and your customers will be impress. This type of product will allow me to stand out from our competitors when I can do things they can't like make gates open uphill. We installed a double drive cedar gate on a 4" grade change for 1 leaf. We didn't make any adjustments to the hinge. The default settings were PERFECT! During the sales process, the Client was concerned because other companies said it couldn't be done. Once we offered this as a solution, the job sold itself. This will forever be in our back pocket of tools. I will caveat all of this with the only negative. The bottom hinge does stick out. So, take into consideration the foot traffic of the gate before installing. Ours had no issues, luckily.
