WELCOMING WINTER AT THE FAIRGROUNDS

Light Up the Fairgrounds and the Franklin County Fesitval of the Trees are
collaborating to bring you the first annual Welcoming Winter Wonderland!

Light Up the Fairgrounds will continue to be a drive-through event, and Festival
of the Trees will be a walk-through event in the Roundhouse at the end of the
drive.

Open Dates:
All dates 5-8pm, weather dependant.

EXHIBITOR'S HANDBOOK

This is your one stop for information to exhibit in the Roundhouse and Youth
Hall, or to enter your Horse, Cow, Chicken, Rabbit, Sheep, or Oxen at the Fair.

The 2024 Exhibitor's Handbook is available below and can be referenced until the
new version is available in early Summer 2025.

DEMOLITION DERBY ON SUNDAY

The Stoney Roberts Demolition Derby is a staple of the Franklin County Fair.
Dates for the 2025 show will be released when determined.

Preferred ticket admission into the Grandstand is 5pm
General Admission entry time is 5:15pm

Information regarding car requirements can be found on the Stoney Roberts
website.




MIDWAY RIDES

The Coleman Brothers Midway returns for family fun and thrills.

Midway Hours:

 * Thursday: Open at 4pm
 * Friday: Open at 4pm
 * Saturday: Open at 12pm
 * Sunday: Open at 12pm

Wristbands to ride all the rides for one price are available every day and go on
sale at the hours listed above.



FRANKLIN COUNTY FAIR HOURS

 * Thursday: Gate opens at 3pm
 * Friday: Gate opens at 3pm
 * Saturday: Gate opens at 8am
 * Sunday: Gate opens at 8am

There is no set closing time for the fair, though generally it's open until at
least 9pm on Thursday and Sunday, and at least 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Poor
weather may result in an earlier closing time.


FRANKLIN COUNTY FAIR GATE ADMISSION 2024

 * Adult (18-59): $12
   Opening Night Special: $9
 * Senior (60 +): $9
 * Active Military & Vets (With ID): $9
 * Youth (9-17): $9
 * Age 8 & Under: Free
 * Parking: $10


FRANKLIN COUNTY FAIR BUILDING HOURS

 * Thursday: 3 – 9 p.m.
   (Roundhouse at 5 p.m.)
 * Friday: 3 – 9 p.m.
 * Saturday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
 * Sunday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Buildings include Roundhouse, Youth Hall, Fish & Wildlife, Dole Building, Baby
Barnyard, Grandstand, Poultry, and Rabbits.

The Fair Museum, located near the show ring, is open:

 * Thursday: 3 - 8 p.m.
 * Friday: 3 - 8 p.m.
 * Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
 * Sunday: 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.

ABOUT US

The Franklin County Fairgrounds is owned and managed by the Franklin County
Agricultural Society. The Society's mission is to promote agriculture, the arts,
and family entertainment and to continuously invest in preservation of the
historic fairgrounds. The Friends of the Franklin County Fairgrounds serves as
the fundraising arm of the Society.





HISTORIC PRESERVATION

The Franklin County Fairgrounds was listed on the National Park Service's
National Registry of Historical Places in 2011.
