We are part of International Airlines Group (IAG), one of the world’s leading
airline groups and owner of some of the biggest brands in the sky.

With a diverse workforce spread across four countries, IAG GBS provides creative
and innovative solutions to drive sustainable transformation by delivering
finance, procurement and airline services, as well as group-wide systems across
IAG. Each operating company benefits from the GBS centralised model, driving
efficiencies, automation and economies of scale.




OUR STORY

Established in 2014, IAG GBS provides sustainable transformation for all
operating companies in the Group by creating and delivering innovative
centralised solutions in finance, procurement, IT and digital services.

Each operating company benefits from the IAG GBS centralised model, driving
efficiencies, automation and economies of scale. Its headquarters are based in
Kraków (Poland) and everyone in the team is trained to identify and implement
solutions and process improvements – streamlining, standardising and automating
processes wherever possible.

WITH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMON FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT SYSTEM, GROUP
PROCUREMENT HAS SIMPLIFIED THE END-TO-END SUPPLY CHAIN.

We continually analyse and optimise the Group cost base, right-size the supply
chain; support cash preservation; partner with suppliers who share our values
and ways of working; manage supplier performance; and proactively monitor any
potential supplier risks to mitigate emerging issues.


IAG GBS FINANCE OPERATIONS TRANSFORMS AND CONSOLIDATES ADDITIONAL SERVICES FROM
ACROSS THE GROUP BY DRIVING SYNERGIES.

Streamlining new solutions through the optimisation and automation of processes;
delivers best-in-class working capital management; and constantly reviews the
insourcing/outsourcing strategy (make versus buy) to achieve the optimal mix of
onshore, nearshore and offshore work.

RECOGNISED AS ‘INDUSTRY LEADERS IN THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY’. TO ENABLE THAT, WE
ARE DRIVING IMPROVEMENTS ACROSS THE IAG TECHNOLOGY COMMUNITY.

We have a simple mission to “increase shareholder value, accelerate business

SUSTAINABILITY

IAG has led aviation action on climate change for over a decade and has
committed to a package of new measures to reduce our carbon footprint and a
long-term goal to reach net zero CO2 emissions by 2050. Read more about the

IAG GBS manages interactions with suppliers on behalf of the Group and has a
dedicated Procurement Sustainability Programme relating to the supply chain.
There are four key streams:

Supplier Code of Conduct
IAG will only work with businesses which share our standards and ways of working
and the Code clarifies the standards of behaviour expected from suppliers
working with any part of the business and emphasises the importance of
sustainability.

Risk screening
As a minimum, all suppliers undergo bi-annual screening for any legal, social,
environmental and financial risks.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Audits
In-depth supplier audits are carried out as part of the Group’s commitment to
CSR and are based on potential geographical and procurement category risk. They
are performed by independent inspectors with CSR expertise using the SEDEX
Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) methodology.

Joint programmes to promote sustainability initiatives
Joint programmes are in place with key suppliers to drive sustainable innovation
and identify new ways to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and waste. Programmes
include the continued investment in developing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
and carbon removal technology, as well as initiatives to use environmentally
friendly packaging in lounges and inflight products.
