27-29 SEPTEMBER 2023 ARNHEM, THE NETHERLANDS



The biggest challenges of our time call for European cooperation. Climate
action, healthy biodiversity and a circular economy, these are the themes that
have been central to the European political network ENCORE for the last 30
years.

This year, the biennial political conference will take place from the 27th to
the 29th of September in Gelderland, the Netherlands. With participants from all
over Europe, we need to explore how we can scale up our actions and increase our
impact.

The Future of Us
The conference will be held in conjunction with the innovative festival The
Future of Us, focusing on energy transition and circular economy. It presents a
unique opportunity for over 500 entrepreneurs, politicians, researchers, and
youth to come together and discuss these important topics.

About Gelderland
Gelderland, the largest of the twelve provinces in the Netherlands, is located
in the central/eastern part of the country, with a population exceeding 2
million. The region boasts a diverse landscape, including the largest connected
nature reserve in North-West Europe, the Rhine River, and rural areas.
Gelderland's provincial government is based in Arnhem, the capital of the
province. With almost 100 castles, Gelderland has a rich history dating back
over 1000 years when it started as a duchy. The province is home to picturesque
towns, historic sites, and internationally renowned universities and knowledge
institutes, such as Wageningen University and Radboud University.
