JOB DESCRIPTION

Token Relations is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and
help us build an initial desktop platform. The successful candidate will be
responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a desktop platform that
is compatible with crypto applications, wallets and plug-ins. This role requires
expertise in front-end and back-end engineering to create seamless and engaging
user experiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product
   managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and translate
   them into robust desktop application solutions

 * Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for
   desktop application using the latest front-end technologies and frameworks
   (e.g., React Native, Flutter)

 * Implement back-end functionality, including APIs, data integration, and
   server-side logic, using programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift,
   or Python

 * Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and scalability of desktop
   application

 * Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., push notifications, social
   media integration, payment gateways) into the desktop application ecosystem

 * Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues,
   ensuring high-quality and reliable applications

 * Stay up-to-date with the latest desktop and mobile app development trends,
   technologies, and best practices

 * Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team
   members


QUALIFICATIONS

 * Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop and/or mobile app development for
   both iOS and Android platforms

 * Proficient in front-end technologies such as React Native, Flutter, or native
   iOS (Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin) development

 * Strong understanding of back-end technologies, including RESTful APIs,
   databases, and server-side programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift,
   Python)

 * Experience with mobile app development tools and frameworks (e.g., Xcode,
   Android Studio, Firebase)

 * Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems
   (e.g., Git)


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 * Portfolio or samples of successful desktop and/or mobile app projects

 * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus

 * Familiarity with desktop and mobile app security best practices and data
   protection regulations

investor, have co-founded Token Relations, which aims to help blockchains and
crypto projects capture direct relationships with their communities, developers,
token holders, and projects building on the chain, so they can become more
educated and engaged – all in one place.

Initial launch partners include layer-1 blockchains Avalanche and Aptos as well
as the Ethereum-focused layer-2 blockchain, Optimism.

Token Relations’ mission is to help blockchains communicate more effectively
with their ecosystem, in an attempt to create more informed stakeholders without
the noise of algorithmic social platforms.
