American Legion, Post 160 - Smyrna, Georgia

The American Legion is built on a promise from men and women who swore with
their lives to defend and protect the United States through military service.
The promise begins at enlistment, grows through training and discipline in the
U.S. Armed Forces and continues after discharge, as veterans in service to
community, state and nation.

In times of crisis, The American Legion steps into the turmoil and fights to
provide needed assistance for others.


MEMORIAL DAY FOOD GIVEAWAY

Saturday, May 18, 2024

The American Legion Post 160 Food Pantry is a staple in the community, serving
approximately 150 or more families a year. Although not large in size, we pack a
powerful punch; helping one family at a time. Unlike other food pantries, we
operate by appointment only. We’re boutique in nature. We conduct three food
giveaways a year, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

We’re not supported by any major Food Bank. All food and monetary donations are
provided through private funds. If you’re in need of food or would like to
donate to our food pantry, please contact us at post160foodpantry@gmail.com or
770-284-1557.
