WELCOME

Welcome to Bergville Community Builders (BCB for short), an independent
non-profit organization (NPO number: 196-349) founded by a group of
professionals that were raised and educated in the small town of Bergville in
KwaZulu-Natal South Africa and surrounding areas. These professionals have built
their careers in their respective fields and now are making time to give back to
the community that raised them through sharing their knowledge, experiences
(work and academic) and exposure in their careers with high school learners. The
focus is mainly education and its related social responsible
initiatives/activities.

ABOUT US

Bergville Community Builders (BCB) is an independent Non-profit Organisation
(NPO). This organisation embodies educational social responsibilities by a group
of professionals who did their basic education in the rural areas of Bergville
and the surrounding areas. BCB was formed on the 23rd of April 2003 and began
its work on the 9th of August 2003. At present the organisation operates in the
underdeveloped rural areas of Bergville, and is operated by professionals who
have built careers and made the time to give back to the community that raised
them. Our members work as volunteers, and BCB has welcomed a number of other
volunteers coming from outside areas who are enthusiastic about BCB activities.




SERVICES



 * Learners Career guidance and Workshops.
 * Promoting Mathematics, Science, Commerce and Technology as well as promoting
   Entrepreneurship.
 * Guidance on survival skills at tertiary institutions and workplaces.
 * Mentoring of tertiary students from Bergville.
 * Identify, develop and implement necessary initiatives to deal with identified
   challenges at our schools.
 * Support educator’s workshops in Maths, Science and Accounting.
