Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?
It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew
and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches” (Luke 13:18-19).

Ezekiel 17: 22-23, Mark 4: 26-29
The kingdom of God is like this: A man scattered seed on the land; he goes to
bed at night and gets up in the morning, and the seed sprouts and grows — how,
he does not know. The ground produces a crop by itself first the blade, then the
ear, then the full grown crown in the ear; but as soon as the crop is ripe, he
plies the sickle, because harvest time has come.
