 * THE APPROACH
   
   FAIL BETTER. At Gate 14, that’s our mindset. We see perfection as a myth. No
   perfect body, no perfect performance, no perfect push-up or plank. We see our
   gym as a daily practice… a place where small, incremental gains yield huge
   changes over long stretches of time. We measure ourselves by how much we
   grow— mentally, emotionally, and physically.
   
   What does that mean for you? It means that getting in for your first session
   is success in and of itself — proof that you’re one of us, proof that you
   value the endless possibility of growth, too.
   
   
   


 * THE WORKOUTS
   
   The approach is expressed through our hour long group classes that are
   high-intensity high-volume training sessions guided by three different
   protocol styles: interval training to burn fat, load training to build
   strength and lean muscle mass, and benchmarking to track our progress and
   keep us accountable.
   
   
   The equipment we use - bikes, barbells, dumbbells, treadmills, ski-ergs, “the
   rig”, plyometric boxes, sleds, and more - are tools designed to challenge,
   and help you grow, in every major tenet of fitness.
   
   
   


 * THE CULTURE
   
   Our gym is different.
   
   Gate 14 started with an earnest journey to find and test our limits. It grew
   from neighbors seeing us push ourselves everyday in a one-car garage in El
   Segundo and transformed into a community of people keeping each other
   accountable and enthusiastic about dipping a pinky toe into their own
   personal unknown.
   
   Here, we see you as part of our G14 community. Here, we know everyone by
   name. Our trainers are knowledgeable about fitness, mobility, and nutrition.
   But they also know how to position each workout as part of a larger fitness
   journey that we are all on together.
