A Message from Kevin Mandia and Bill Robbins to our Customers
 

 

Today, we marked an important milestone for our company and our customers with
the announcement of the close of the FireEye Products divestiture. This is an
opportunity to reflect on the amazing legacy we have established together and to
celebrate the start of a promising new era for Mandiant and FireEye and the
organizations we support.

Bill and I are very proud of all our teams have accomplished with our customers
– responding to the most important breaches, sharing the insights from this work
with you and with the broader security community, and introducing innovative
solutions that better meet your organization’s needs.

By joining Symphony Technology Group’s portfolio of companies, FireEye Products
will have new opportunities to build on a set of powerful product offerings that
extend across network, email, security management, orchestration, and endpoint.

As we have shared with you, the separation of the Mandiant and FireEye
businesses promises to create opportunities for our customers as well. The name
change that took effect on October 4  is reflective of our mission. Over the
past 17 years, Mandiant has earned a reputation as a trusted brand and partner,
and the renaming signifies our commitment to help organizations secure their
environments and be confident in their readiness to defend against and respond
to cyber threats. Our success is founded on the belief that effective security
is enabled by the right combination of expertise, intelligence, and adaptive
technology. This is reflected in our dynamic cyber defense solutions, powered by
our unique expertise and intelligence delivered though the Mandiant Advantage
SaaS platform.

This week, both Mandiant and FireEye shared their stories with Cyber Defense
Summit 2021 attendees, and I hope you had the opportunity to see and hear our
updates from the event. Visit the CDS 2021 website for more information on the
Summit.

Bill and I speak for both teams in assuring our organizations remain committed
to putting our customers first and ensuring that this separation is as seamless
as possible for you. We want to again confirm that all contracts continue to be
valid, all quotes will be honored, and you can continue to conduct business with
both companies in a single, unified way just as you have done prior to the
separation. If you have any specific questions or need more information, please
reach out to your FireEye or Mandiant account team.

As we move forward, our companies will continue to have a special bond – beyond
the business partnerships and agreements. We will share a proud legacy, the
promise of a brighter future, and a commitment to our customers.
