We’re Mary Sue Williams and Sherry Shellenberger, occupational therapists for
over 35 years and founders of the Alert Program® in Albuquerque, NM.
We’ve dedicated our lives to teaching people of all ages the importance of
self-regulation. What’s that, you ask? It’s that inner drive that moves us
through the day – sometimes frenzied, sometimes mellow, and sometimes attentive
and focused.
After decades of full-time international live trainings, we now offer a two
engaging online courses, Your Best Self the Alert Program® for All and the Alert
Program® Online Course . (We even practice what we preach and keep you alert for
learning.) We’re also proud of our numerous groundbreaking products, including

In 2003, we were honored to receive the American Occupational Therapy

The Alert Program® has boiled down complex theory to create simple, practical

One of the analogies we use with children is, “If your body is like a car
