for Medical Students of America has finally selected its winner. With careful
evaluation of the entries he received on January 15, 2023, Dr. Blick is pleased
to announce the winner on February 15, 2023. The scholarship winner has the best
answer to the scholarship question, which impressed Dr. Blick. The
one-thousand-dollar reward that the lucky winner receives will cover some of
their education or tuition fees. The winning essay was on-point, making Dr.

When students apply for a scholarship, it's about more than just getting the
money. It's about proving that they deserve it. They don't have to be genius to
apply for the scholarship fund, but they do have to put in some effort. With all
the essay entries he has received, one student has impressed Dr. Brian Blick,
making that student the winner of his scholarship grant. Selecting the winner
can be challenging, especially when Dr. Blick has tons of great candidates for
his scholarship. The student's funds from the scholarship will help pay for
their college or university fees and other expenses. The goal of Dr. Brian Blick
in establishing the scholarship fund is twofold: first, to bring attention to

many years of medical school on the long path to a career in finance; and
second, to provide assistance to one of the potential future medical leaders in
the United States.

Brian Blick, MD is an Anesthesiologist in Elk City, Oklahoma and is
board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Brian was born and
raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he
received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2004. Brian has been a
resident of Edmond since birth. After completing his undergraduate studies,
Brian enrolled in graduate school at the University of Central Oklahoma. It was
then that he began a career in the medical field. Before acquiring his Master's
degree in 2007, Dr. Brian Blick got his Bachelor of Science degree with a double
concentration in biology and chemistry. After that, Dr. Blick was granted
entrance into the medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, from
which he ultimately graduated in 2013. Next, in 2017, Dr. Brian Blick finished
his residency at the University of Kansas, the same institution where he
graduated with his degree. Dr. Blick and his wife Lauren relocated to Elk City,
Oklahoma, when he finished his residency. There, he began working as the Chief
of Anesthesia at Great Plains Regional Medical Center for Western Oklahoma
Anesthesia Consultants. Ultimately, he formed Western Oklahoma Pain Specialists
as a medical practice. Through his experience, Dr. Blick decided to help medical
students with a scholarship grant. Reading all the essay entries, Dr. Blick
realized that the future of the medical field was in good hands. The Dr. Brian
Blick Scholarship for Medical Students of America winner will be announced on
his website on February 15, 2023.
