* WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KLARNA AND CITIZENS PAY?
Klarna, an alternative to traditional credit, enables you to buy now and pay
later. Klarna allows you to spread the cost of your purchase in 4 equal,
interest-free payments. When you apply for a Klarna One-time card to pay for
your purchase, Klarna will run a soft credit check, which will not affect
your credit.
Citizens Pay offers financing, a traditional form of credit. Financing with
Citizens Pay allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over a
longer period of time and requires a hard credit check for final loan
approval.
* WHAT IS CITIZENS PAY LINE OF CREDIT?
A Citizens Pay Line of Credit lets approved customers make purchases at
Microsoft Store for a low monthly price and no upfront cost.^ A Citizens Pay
Line of Credit offers you a fixed interest rate of 0% APR for up to 18
months.^ You will receive a statement each month. Citizens Pay recommends
setting up automatic payments to ensure that your bill is paid on time. This
payment method offers $0 down and no interest or fees when you pay on time.
* WHAT IS A KLARNA ONE-TIME CARD?
A Klarna One-time card is a virtual single-use card that can be used for
shopping at any US-facing online store, including Microsoft Store. The card
allows you to pay off your purchase in 4 equal payments over 6 weeks, or if
you qualify, spread your payments over 6 months. Every time you create a
One-time card using your personal debit or credit card, you will be given a
unique card number that you can use during checkout when completing your
purchase, like any regular credit card. Each Klarna One-time card then
follows its own payment plan that you can pay and manage in the Klarna app or

* WHAT SHOULD I CONSIDER WHEN EVALUATING THE CITIZENS PAY LINE OF CREDIT AND
THE KLARNA ONE-TIME CARD?
Consider applying for a Citizens Pay Line of Credit if you want to purchase a
minimum of $900 worth of product from Microsoft Store, want to pay off your
purchase over a longer stretch of time (12 or 18 months), and are looking for
a line of traditional credit. This payment method offers $0 down and no
interest or fees when you pay on time after you pass a hard credit check.

* IS THERE A MINIMUM SPEND REQUIRED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A CITIZENS PAY LINE OF
CREDIT?
Yes, you must have a minimum initial purchase of $900 of qualifying
products in your cart before taxes and shipping to apply for
pre-approval. Only recurring subscriptions, gift cards, and pre-orders do not
qualify.
* WHY DON'T I SEE CITIZENS PAY AS AN OPTION IN THE DROP-DOWN MENU UNDER
'PAYMENT OPTIONS' AT CHECKOUT?
You must have a minimum of $900 in qualifying products in your cart pre-tax
and shipping before you are eligible to apply for qualification for a
Citizens Pay Line of Credit. Once you have filled your cart with qualifying
items totaling a minimum of $900 before taxes and shipping, go to checkout
and sign into your Microsoft Account. Select ‘payment type’ and in the
drop-down menu, choose ‘Citizen’s Pay.’ Fill out the form completely and then
submit your application. If you are approved, you will be informed that you
have a revolving line of credit available to use at checkout.
* ARE THERE ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH CITIZENS PAY LINE OF CREDIT?
A Citizens Pay Line of Credit for Microsoft Store has no application fees and
no interest or fees when you pay on time. However, late payments may be
reported to the credit bureaus. For more information regarding fees assessed
for late payment, please review Citizens Pay Line of Credit Terms &
Conditions.
* ARE THERE ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH A KARNA ONE-TIME CARD?
There are no fees incurred when you pay on time. The Klarna One-time
card allows shoppers to buy now and spread the cost over time with interest
rates as low as 0% for up to 6 months.
* WILL SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION TO CHECK MY ELIGIBILITY OR PRE-QUALIFY FOR A
CITIZEN PAY LINE OF CREDIT BE REFLECTED ON MY CREDIT REPORT?
When you submit an application to Citizens Pay, Citizens Pay first checks
eligibility using a soft credit check, which will not impact your credit
report or score. If you qualify in the pre-approval process, at that time,
Citizens Pay will do a hard credit check, which may impact your credit score.
* AT WHAT POINT IN THE PURCHASE PROCESS WILL MY CREDIT REPORT BE IMPACTED BY AN
APPLICATION FOR A CITIZENS PAY LINE OF CREDIT?
Your credit report will be impacted after you are qualified in the
pre-approval process.
* HOW WILL APPLYING FOR PRE-QUALIFY FOR A KLARNA ONE-TIME CARD AFFECT MY
CREDIT?
When you use Klarna to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments,
Klarna will run a soft credit check, which will not affect your score. There
is no hard credit check when signing up for the Klarna One-time card.
* DOES MICROSOFT PROVIDE FINANCING?
Microsoft does not extend credit and does not determine credit terms or
eligibility.
Citizens Pay Line of Credit Account is offered by Citizens Bank, N.A., and
serviced by Citizens Bank. Citizens Bank determines terms and qualifications
for credit.
Klarna financing is offered by WebBank, Member FDIC, and serviced by Klarna
Credit. WebBank determines qualifications for, and terms of, credit.
